Fortniteのゲーム内で開催されたMarshmelloのバーチャルライブ 1000万人以上が視聴し大盛況

音楽プロデューサーでDJのMarshmelloが2月3日に「フォートナイト」のゲーム内で開催したライブを1000万人以上が視聴した事が明らかになった

著名なストリーマーNinjaの友人でもあるMarshmelloは、Epic Gamesの協力を得てFortniteのゲーム内でライブを開催した。
会場となったマップでは武器が使用不可になり、リスポーンも可能な設定。約10分のライブは何千ものサーバーに同時配信された。ライブ終了後、バトルロイヤルが再開された。

ジャーナリストでThe Game Awardsのエグゼクティブ・プロデューサーとして著名なGeoff Keighley氏が自身のTwitterで、1000万人以上がこのライブを同時視聴したと伝えた。

Marshmelloは自身のTwitterに「今日私達は歴史を作りました！Fortnite内での初のバーチャルコンサートライブは何百万もの人々を動員しました。Epic Gamesとこれを実現してくれた人達ありがとう」と投稿している。
