World of Warcraftの月額課金者数がリークか

世界で最もアクティブプレイヤーが多いとされるPC用MMORPG「World of Warcraft」の月額課金者数がAPIからリークしたという噂を海外メディアが報じた

World of Warcraft用アドオンのフレームワークを開発しているWeakAurasによると、Blizzard Entertainmentが新しいAPIを公開した際に、World of Warcraftの最新の月額課金者数がリークしてしまったという。

WeakAurasによると、現在のWorld of Warcraftの月額課金者は170万人程度だという。
拡張パック「Battle for Azeroth」の発売直後は320万人だったとのこと。

ただし、これは欧米圏における数字である可能性が高く、アジアやCIS、オセアニア等の月額課金者の数も含まれているのかは不明。
